RE: Wix Filters

Nascar guys for years have used Fine mesh surgical grade stainless steel filters which are re- usible; also sludge doesn't plug them up like paper. I use one in my race bike.

RE: Repo'd RVs

Another issue when buying "repo's" is having a clear title. There may be lean holders not listed on the title that have a actual valid claim on the vehicle. The new owner can become responsible for the debt. Several folks have only found out about a "second lean" or unregistered lean when going to register/get the title in their name for the vehicle.
This is more common at police auctions than bank auctions.
What is this about "second liens" on titles? How can people purchase an rv and be sure no one has a claim on it? If that is possible than anyone who buys a coach from a private party is a fool.

RE: A/C Freezing up?

Humidity can affect current draw. Moisture warms the evaporator increasing evap temp which will raise condenser temp, raising head pressure, and drawing more current. On the freeze thing... the old trick on charge is to just look at the evap coils and they should be wet all the way down. If not, freon will boil before it reaches the end of the coils. At that point moisture will freeze because the evap temp is cooled below 32. Proper charge keeps liquid refridgerant ABOVE the freezing point on the whole coil. Techs routinely add freon by watching low side pressure to keep it around 55 psi which on a gauge will translate to about 35 deg. It ain't supposed to freeze no matter what with the correct charge even with a failed blower.

Hi neighbor! How do like my new 45ft DP? ruda-ruda-pishhh..

Please offer thoughts on parking a 12ft high, 45 ft Monaco between houses. Will be 10ft from the neighbors' bedroom. City allows it but these units are essentially tour buses and will change the side yard forever. We haven't purchased yet because of this. We won't store off site. Wife says "If they had a unit they would probably park it there also" She asked if the slides would hang over the lot line.

RE: Best Way To Get Rid of Carpenter Ants

Sugar ants are easy. Carpenter ants are more difficult because they are smarter! Google carpenter ants to learn their habits. Find the TERRO liquid trays (not spray) get about 6 trays and place them in their trails. That'll get em.

RE: Best Way To Get Rid of Carpenter Ants

Everybody knows that TERRO does carpenter in. Liquid trays, Home depot. We had millions; all dead. Use liquid trays. Spraying does nothing.
